Food & Drink Heroes Awards 2022: We're Finalists!

Amongst the sizable 700 entries this year, (almost double last year’s entries!) this was the toughest year yet to make the Food & Drink Heroes shortlist so we're absolutely thrilled and humbled that our Founder & CEO Philip Everett-Lyons has been nominated as Alcoholic Drink Entrepreneur of the Year.

There are many esteemed judges on the panel this year including Adrian Boswell, senior food buyer of Selfridges, John Shepherd of Partridges and fellow B Corps including Jon Wright, co-founder of innocent Drinks and Jam Jar Investments and Ben Greensmith of Tony's Chocoloney.

Joining the Alumni of F&D Heroes is an honour, with previous winners including Jonathan Petrides of Allplants, Helen & Simon Pattinson of Montezuma's, John Burke & Jon Hulme of Craft Gin Club and 2021's Alcoholic Drink Entrepreneur of the Year Ralph Broadbent of The Greater Good Fresh Brewing Co.

Francesca James, founder of Food and Drink Heroes, said: “The line-up of finalists is nothing short of impressive. I’m more than pleased to see even more entrepreneurs being given the chance to share their story. It’ll be a tough task for the judges to select the winners from such an impressive list of talent, but I have no doubt that this year’s finalists are some of the best businesses we’ve seen yet and will be recognised as such.”

Huge congratulations and the best of luck to our fellow finalists, all of whom are incredibly worthy of their nomination: Liam Manton of Alderman's Drinks, Morgan & Elaine Arnell of Crumbs Brewing, Jacob Liddle of Jiddler's Tipple, Jesse Wilson of Jubel, George Blurton of Long Shot Drinks, Richard Sager & Luca Quagliano of NIO Cocktails and Jay Bradley of The Craft Irish Whiskey Co & Wealth Club.
